EPEC 3610 Control Unit — ISOBUS, RS-232, 2 × CAN

The EPEC 3610 is a compact, ruggedized electronic control unit built for mobile machinery and implement control. It packs 22 I/O pins into a small footprint — every one of which can be configured as an input — so a single unit can cover sensor monitoring, valve driving, and machine logic on the same harness. 

This variant ships with an RS-232 serial port and dual CAN with ISOBUS support, making it a direct fit for implement ECUs that need to talk to an ISOBUS-compatible tractor terminal while still handling legacy serial devices like GPS receivers, sensors, or third-party controllers. 

What sets the 3610 apart

• High-side current measurement and an internal 3-axis accelerometer — useful for boom leveling, tilt sensing, and load feedback without adding external hardware 
• Optional high-accuracy Pt1000 temperature measurement 
• One CAN is doubled up on the connector pins, so you can daisy-chain the bus without splicing branches into the harness 
• A leak-proof zinc and plastic housing, environmentally tested and built to shrug off mechanical wear, plus a diagnostic signal LED 
• An assembly variant offers an I/O interface compatible with the older Epec 2038 control unit, which simplifies retrofits on existing machines
